Discipline Policy |

Order, respect, and appropriate student behavior are prerequisites for an effective school. Students are expected to adhere to all school system rules and policies regarding safety and security. Should disciplinary problems occur, parents will be requested to participate in a conference regarding the child's behavior. If the child persistently and consistently violates school rules creating excessive disruption, further disciplinary action will be taken.
In each classroom the teacher and students will work together to establish rules and responsibilities. The teacher is responsible for setting the tone of the classroom environment to maximize learning opportunities and encourage appropriate behavior. Fighting, weapons, drugs, and obscene language are a few of the behaviors that are inappropriate, unacceptable, and simply will not be tolerated. |
