I graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas in May of 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and an endorsement in Special Education. I moved to Nashville in August of 2004 shortly after graduating and found my first teaching job at Neely’s Bend Elementary. I taught second grade there for 3 years. I then came to Norman Binkley Elementary in 2007 to teach first grade.
I was married to my husband, Ben Wilkins, on December 18, 2005. I have a dog named Sadie who is a beagle mix. I enjoy shopping, scrapbooking, and teaching!!
This school year will be a wonderful one full of learning and growing. I will do everything it takes to help the children in my class reach their full potential. I strongly believe it takes teamwork between teachers, parents, and students to meet the children’s needs. I look forward to making this year a great one!
