 Ever since I was in junior high, I have had the opportunity to work with kids, and I've always enjoyed it. Their energy, curiosity, and excitement are just some of the things I love about working with elementary age students. I have had many opportunities to work with kids, such as church, lifeguarding, sports, and music activities. Music and sports have always been a big part of my life. If I had not pursued physical education, I would have become a music teacher.
When I'm not at school, I enjoy travelling, singing, golfing, volleyball, church activities, and spending time with friends and family. I am also involved in a Southern Gospel quartet. The group travels a couple of weekends a month, singing at different churches around the country. We have also taken trips to Africa, France, Germany, Central Asia, and Cuba.
I have a beautiful wife, and we have been married for eight years in December '06. She is also a teacher. She teaches business and is the leader of the DECA program at a Rutherford County High School. We enjoy having time off together and travelling to different places. We also enjoy playing volleyball together and working with the youth at our church.
I have a B.S. in Physical Education from Free Will Baptist Bible College here in Nashville.
