 I have been a Metro Teacher for over thirty years. I have taught Ell classes for the last several years. I taught 2nd and 4th grade for many years at Lakeview Elementary and Mt. View School. I have also been a Title I reading teacher at Napier Elementary.
I received a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Peabody College, a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Tenn State University and I also added English as a Second Language Endorsement.
I came from a family of teachers. My mother was a teacher at East High School, and my father was a professor at Tenn State University. I am married. I have two daughters, and two step-sons.
I like to travel and see different places, as often as possible. I like to eat out, and grill out! I enjoy walking and playing competitive sports. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family.
