Norman Binkley was a former state senator who lived in the Woodbine area. The school, which is named in his honor, was built in 1960 to serve the needs of four subdivisions. The parents and community played an important role in the opening of our school - they gave books to our library instead of exchanging holiday gifts - and they continue to be our source of encouragement. |
