Lynn Cohen, Guidance Counselor
I'm originally from New York City, but have lived in the south most of my adult life.My husband and I taught at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. We eventually moved to Nashville and worked at Vanderbilt University. I had a masters degree in counseling, but decided to go back to school and in 1996 I received a masters degree in social work and found my way into the public schools. I worked as a social worker for six years and a Guidance Counselor for almost four. Metro schools is a good place for me, since I seek diversity in a student population, and love to work with young children. My children are grown-up and have left Nashville, so I count on seeing those beautiful, little faces in the morning! I am continually grateful for the opportunity to serve as a counselor in metro schools
